Mangalore: Mayor Shankar Bhat to Participate in Intl Conference in Thailand

Mangalore, May 13: The first citizen city, mayor Shankar Bhat is participating in the 35th international conference titled 'Metering Asia,' being held at The Imperial Queens Park, Bangkok in Thailand on Wednesday May 13 and Thursday May 14.

Around 45 experts will deliver their special lectures on metering, billing and management of customer-related subjects.

Shankar Bhat will deal with the subject of 'Implementation of Digital Water Metre and Management ' on the occasion.

Aurindham Ghosh, KPMG Services limited vice-president, will also represent India and will deliver a lecture on 'Prepaid Metering'.

In addition, an exhibition relating to the topic is also being held on the occasion.

The travel expenditure and accommodation facility of the delegates is being met by the conference organizers.
