Mangalore: Theatre Artist Shrilanjan Marakada Commits Suicide

Mangalore, May 14: Theatre artist Shrilanjan Marakada (28) committed suicide on Wednesday May 13.      
    
This extreme step was taken by Shrilanjan after his wife was admitted to a private hospital after a failed suicide attempt on Tuesday May 12.

The actor hung himself to death using his wife’s shawl. 

 


 
Shrilanjan was a versatile actor in a Tulu drama troupe. Being a comedy actor he was known for his style of dialogue delivery. He has been in the field for the past five years.
 
It is alleged that his in-laws blamed him for their daughter’s attempt to end her life.
