Mangalore, May 14: The book release function of 'Kallubaji', authored by Pailoor Shivaramaiah was held at Sneha Shikshana Samsthe of Sullia on Tuesday May 12.
Speaking after releasing the book 'Kallubaji', veteran poet Subraya Chokkady said that discipline and efficiency along with the creative ability are the wealth one inherits from his ancestors and the family is involved with protecting and developing these qualities further.
Dr Chandrashekar Damle, founder president of Sneha Shikshana Samsthe presided over the function.
Srinivas Rao delivered the introductory address.
The work edited by poet G S Ubaradka, Shivaram Pailoor and Anita Pailoor was published by 'Sriranga' publication of Kattadamajalu.
Shivaram Pailoor welcomed the gathering. Anita Pailoor proposed vote of thanks.
G S Ubaradka and Prasad Rakshidi, Kannada Sahitya Parishat president, Sakaleshpur taluk were present on the occasion.
Vasavi Pailoor entertained the audience by rendering songs on the occasion.
