Daijiworld Media Network - Kundapur (SN/SP)

Kundapur, May 16: On the occasion of the counting of votes and the days following the declaration of the result relating to the Lok Sabha election, the policemen of respective stations and the Anti Naxal Force have been asked to be extra vigilant in the naxal-infested regions of Hebri.

It has been a year since the double murder took place near the Sita Falls on May 15 last. Counting of votes also is taking place on the next day.

Apart from the above, the newly built police station at Amasebail was inaugurated recently. It is thought, that the naxals might try to exploit the circumstances to seek revenge.

Suresh Kumar, Hebri station inspector, Ramdas Nayak, Anti-Naxal Force assistant commandant and Mohan Kumar, inspector, have formed different teams to precipitate any disturbances by the naxalites.

The KSRP police team will be accompanying the Hebri police officials in the combing operation.
