Mangalore, May 19: The idol of Sri Narayana Guru was installed at Posralu Mullagudde Narayanaguru Seva Sangh, Sacheripet near Kinnigoly on Monday May 18.
Sri Satyananda Teertha Swamiji of Shivagiri Mutt installed the idol. He felt, the lives of the people become meaningful and fulfilled if they follow the 'one caste, one religion, one God' principle as preached by Narayana guru.
In the morning, Brahmakalashotsav was held at the Seva Sangh under the guidance of K Narayana Shanti. Religious rituals were supervised by Haridas Janardan Shanti. chief priest Keshav Anchan, Sangh president Mahabal Poojary, Mundkoor gram panchayat president Sridhar Sanil and Billava Yuva Vedike resident Krishna Salian Sankalakaria were present.
