Mangalore: Check-up Camp for Physically Disabled

Mangalore, May 22: A free check-up camp for the physically disabled persons will be held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan here on Tuesday May 26 from 9.30 am to 1 pm.

The camp is being organized by Dakshina Kannada District Federation of Handicapped Persons and Lanco Foundation Udupi.

The camp is being conducted for the health check up of the physically challenged people. At the camp, an assessment about   the need to fix artificial feet, hands, providing walking sticks and calipers to the needy persons free of cost, will be made.

The beneficiaries are required to carry two photographs, disabled identity card and ration card (BPL) while participating in the said camp, a release said.
