Mangalore: Shipping Company Reports Theft of Rs 16 Lac

Mangalore, May 24:
  A shipping agency reported a theft of Rs 16 lac that occurred late at night on Friday May 22.

The doors and the cupboard had been broken open. 
 
The theft occurred at the HML Shipping Agency unit behind Vishnumurthy Temple in Panambur. 
 
According to police, the money was kept for paying the wages of the employees and for the purchase of diesel.

Two security guards and one supervisor, who were staying in the adjacent room, were unaware of the theft.
 
A case has been registered in Panambur police station and the investigation is on.
