Mysore: 'Deve Gowda and Sons are Not Trustworthy'

Daijiworld Media Network - Mysore (SP)

Mysore, May 26: Newly-elected Congress MP from local constituency and former minister H Vishwanath has questioned as to what has former minister Kumaraswami done, so as to be gifted with a berth in the union ministry.

"In most of the constituencies in the state, the JD (S) fought against the Congress. I have already explained to the central leaders about the likely repercussions and problems the move to make him a central minister can create in the state. The national leaders have lent an ear and concurred with what we said," he told reporters here on Sunday May 24.

"As the JD (S) is an opponent of the Congress Party in the state, ceding ministership to that party will create problems. Kumaraswami too should not have sought the post of a minister because of the situation here," Vishwanath felt.

H D Deve Gowda was made the Prime Minister of the country by the Congress Party. But, he registered a murder attempt case against the Congress leader Seetaram Kesari. The father, Deve Gowda and his sons are not trustworthy, he felt.

He concurred, that he had felt, Mallikarjun Kharge should have been made a minister in the first phase of ministry formation and that he was disappointed that Kharge was not made minister. "We will urge the high command to make him a minister at least in the second phase. A delegation of the state leaders will visit Delhi for bringing pressure on central leaders in this connection," he revealed.
