Bantwal: Rift Over District Congress Committee Leadership Widens

Bantwal, May 27:
District Congress Committee (DCC) former president Bondala Jagannat Shetty urged the DCC to take disciplinary action against Panemangalore block Congress president Chandrahas Karkera.
 
Addressing media persons in a news conference held at B C Road on Monday May 25, Shetty took Karkera to task demanding explanations over various issues, such as disappearance of Sunita, setbacks to the Congress in the recent general elections, welcoming opponents into the party, and the like. 
 
Meanwhile, he also demanded as to why no action was taken by taluk panchayat president Chandrashekar Shetty, for not handing over the charge despite 10 months having passed and also for not taking action on a taluk panchayat member who belonged to Ullal electorate and was not actively involved in poll campaign besides voting for BJP. 
 
Zilla panchayat member Sadanand Malli alleged that DCC president Ramanath Rai has been inciting rebellion within the Congress. 
 
Zilla panchayat member Ummer Farouq, Sajipamuda gram panchayat president Kamalaksha Nayak, former zilla panchayat member Gopalakrishna, and Madusudan Bhat were present at the press conference.

    All these so called Congress leaders are to be sacked and fresh ones are to be given a chance. The downfall of Congress in Karnataka and Specially D.K is because of these stupid leaders. Why cant they be sacked ..??
