Udupi: Sundaram Finance Manager Dies in Accident

Udupi, May 29: Mahadev Nayak (46), working as manager of Sundaram Finance, Mangalore branch, died in an accident involving a mini truck and a Tata Indica car that occurred near Gokak in Belgaum district on the morning of Thursday May 28.

Nayak was a native of Narasinge village near Manipal. He is survived by parents, wife and a child.

Car driver Nanasaheb Patil too was injured in the accident. He is being treated at the Belgaum district hospital. The car was coming to Belgaum from Gokak while the mini truck was moving towards Gokak, when the vehicles collided head on near Bellary Nala in Belgaum district.
