Beltangady, May 29: Perumal (52), a resident of Kallugudde near here, died after the two-wheeler in which he was travelling, skidded off the road.
Perumal, a native of Madurai in Tamil Nadu, engaged in dealing with bakery products, used to stay in a rented accommodation in Kallagudde village. The stomach ache from which he had been suffering from since a week, aggravated on the night of Wednesday May 28. At around 1 am, the pain turned unbearable. He started from his home in his two-wheeler, to get treated at Guruvayanakere hospital. However, he died on the spot after his vehicle skidded near the Church Road, on way to the hospital.
Beltangady policemen have registered a case.
