Bellary, May 30: Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa reiterated here on Thursday May 28, that reshuffling of the ministry is not among his immediate itineraries. He dismissed reports about reorganization of the ministry and dropping of independent ministers, as no more than rumours.

"A delegation will be meeting the Prime Minister on June 2, to discuss development projects of the state and seek cooperation and help from the union government. On the occasion, the newly inducted central ministers will be congratulated," he explained.  Yeddyurappa expressed happiness about the fact that five from the state have bagged ministerial berths at the centre.  "This will come in handy for the development of the state. I am optimistic, that the centre will positively respond to the developmental needs of the state," he added.

The Chief Minister also expressed the hope that the centre will allocate funds the state is justifiably entitled to. The state government will never enter into any friction with the central government, he said. He also welcomed the statement of union minister M Veerappa Moily that he will strive to set up an IIT in the state. Yeddyurappa promised to allocate land required for the institute.

On being questioned about the alleged transgression of the state's border by a mining company that had permission to undertake mining within the Andhra Pradesh border, he said he would not like to comment on the issue as the matter is sub-judice.

Mr. Yeddi, Plz grant a ministership to Mr. Yogish Batt. We know that, Bhatt doesn''t have enough money to buy a berth, on merit you can give him a chance as he is one of the senior MLAs. Also elected from DK, which is Lotus' stronghold.
