Udupi: Six Injured in Tanker-Scorpio Collision

Udupi, May 30: After a Scorpio car going to Kollur from Suratkal and a tanker moving towards Mangalore from here collided with each other near Pangala bridge, a little distance from Kaup on Friday May 29, six persons suffered injuries.

K K Mohan (47), Mani (48), Anju (21), Sudhesh (28), Ravindra (60) and Scorpio driver Anish (26) sustained injuries in the accident. All of them are being treated in a private hospital here.  The front portion of Scorpio vehicle suffered extensive damages in the accident.

A case has been registered in Kaup police station. Investigation is on.
