Udupi, May 30: A boy from Aroor village within Kunjal gram panchayat near Brahmavar lost his life on the reopening day of his school, on Friday May 29. Abhinandan, a ninth standard student of Kunjal V K R Memorial High School, lost his life in a quirk of fate.

It is gathered, that Abhinandan had been complaining of head ache since about a year. On Friday, he was enthusiastic about attending his first day in the ninth standard and sharing his holiday experiences with his friends.  After washing the auto rickshaw his father owns, he was preparing to go to school, when he felt dizzy. He collapsed immediately and breathed his last.

Abhinandan's father works as rickshaw driver.  His mother is an activist of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rual Development Project. In honour of the deceased student, the High School declared a day's holiday on Friday.
