Mangalore: Construction Worker from Bihar Falls to Death

Mangalore, Jun 3: A construction worker was killed after he fell down from the sixteenth floor of an apartment building under construction near Falnir on Tuesday June 2.  

The deceased is Sam Mohammad (45), a resident of Jafferpatti in Vaishali district of Bihar. His co-workers said that the incident occurred around 5.30 pm.   

The co-workers on the spot said that Mohammad was working on the 16th floor. On hearing a sound, when they looked, they saw that his body was on the first floor and by that time he was dead. As his death had been confirmed, they did not take him to hospital.  

Mohammad had been working on the same building for a year. His son was also working with him, but a day before the incident, he had left to attend a relative’s marriage function in Bihar.  

Police from the Kadri station arrived on the spot and registered a complaint in this regard.
