Mangalore: Annual Feast of St Anthony’s Chapel, Anthonykatte on June 13

Mangalore, Jun 3: The annual feast of St Anthony’s Chapel, located at Anthonykatte, Karambar on Bajpe Airport Road here, will be held on Saturday June 13.
The festal Eucharistic Mass will be offered by Fr Moncy along with diocesan vicar general Fr Dennis Moras Prabhu and Adyapady Mary Help of Christians parish priest Fr Melvyn D’Souza, at 10.00 am on Saturday June 13.
Novena services of nine days will be held in the Chapel here at 5.00 pm from Thursday June 4 to Friday June 12, in order to prepare for annual feast on Saturday June 13.
A Holy Mass followed by novena service is being held on every Tuesday at 5.30 pm throughout the year at the Chapel here.
St Anthony’s Chapel here was blessed by Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul in 2008. It was built mainly to cater to the spiritual needs of the Christian families that were displaced owing to laying of second tarmac at the existing Bajpe Airport.
