Mangalore: Teenager Commits Suicide at Panambur Beach

Mangalore, Jun 5: An eighteen-year old girl ended her life by jumping into the sea waters at Panambur beach here on the morning of Thursday June 4. She has been identified as Mallavva (18) who used to live near Pumpwell in the city.

She had arrived at the beach in an auto rickshaw. After resting at the beach for some time, she climbed up the break water and jumped into the sea there.

She was identified with the help of a phone number found written on a chit found in her purse. A case has been registered in Panambur police station. Reasons for this extreme step are not known.
