Mangalore: Bunts Sangha to Celebrate ‘Ganeshotsava’ from August 23

Mangalore, Jun 22: The Sarvajanika Ganeshostsava Samithi, an affiliated organization of the Bunts Sangha has decided to celebrate ‘Ganeshostava’ for three days from August 23 to 25, in a meeting held recently, informed a release. 

The Samithi decided in its meeting, to celebrate the festival as a part of the centenary celebration of the Bunts Sangha. The Ganeshostava will be celebrated with a ‘Bhagya Aikyamatha Sooktha Pooje’, ‘Havana’ and ‘Mahaganayaga’. 

The meeting was held at A B Shetty Hall under the leadership of Malady Ajith Kumar Rai, the honourary president of the Samithi. It has also been decided to make some changes in the cultural programmes and the talent hunt shows, added the press release.
