Karkala: Speeding Bus Kills Pedestrian

Karkala, Jun 23: A pedestrian was killed in an accident that occurred on Sunday June 21 evening near Muttur cross on Hiriadka-Udupi main road.

The deceased has been identified as Ravindra Nair (52), a coolie worker from Manjotti. Nair was hit from the rear by a bus traveling, speedily.

Seriously injured Nair died on the way to the hospital, said police. A case has been registered at Hiriadka police station in this regard.
