Udupi, Jun 29: The mass contact meeting-cum-harmony meet covering the people living in the jurisdiction of Shiriyara, Yedtady, Barkur and Hanehally gram panchayats was held at Barkur St Peter's church hall in the morning of Saturday June 27.
Sanction letters pertaining to various government facilities under schemes like Sandhya Suraksha, handicapped pension etc., were distributed at the meeting, to 132 beneficiaries by the dignitaries present.
Kundapur MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty, zilla panchayat member B K Hegde, Barkur gram panchayat president Shantaram Shetty, Shiriyara gram panchayat president Pradip Ballal, Hanehally gram panchayat president Chandrashekhar Shetty and officials of various government departments were present.
