Bangalore: Archbishop Bernard Moras Visits New Governor, Assures Prayers

Archbishop Bernard Moras, president of the Karnataka Region Bishops Council and called upon Karnataka governor Hans Raj Bhardwaj  at 1.30 pm along with priest officials from the Archdiocese of Bangalore that included Fr C Francis, the finance officer, Fr Adolf Washington (PRO, Bangalroe Archdiocese) and Fr Prem (secretary to the Archbishop). 

Greeting the governor with a bouquet of flowers, a garland and a shawl, the Archbishop congratulated the governor on his appointment and assured him prayers and all success in his work.  The Archbishop said, "I convey to you the good wishes and felicitations of the Catholic community of Bangalore Archdiocese  and also the best wishes from the 11 dioceses in Karnataka and wish you the very best in your work.  Be assured of our cooperation and prayers." The Karnataka Region Bishops Council consists of 11 Bishops.
