Mangalore, Jul 3: Ramesh took over charge as the additional superintendent of police of Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday July 1.

Ramesh is from Ramanagar district. He holds BSc and B S (communication) degrees. He joined the state police department in August 1997 and was promoted to higher grade in the year 2003.
