Madikeri, Sep 5: Most parts of Kodagu district have been receiving continuous heavy downpour. As per prediction, the situation is likely to remain unchanged till September 5.

In view of this, the meteorological department has issued red alert all over the district.

As a measure of precaution, the district administration had announced holiday for schools, colleges and Anganwadis in the district on Thursday September 5.
