Udupi, Sep 5: "Burning the replica of PM Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah in the name of protest against the arrest of D K Shivakumar is condemnable. If this continues, BJP also knows the way to protest," said minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.

Addressing the media in the city on the issue of protest against arresting former minister and Congress leader Shivakumar, Kota Srinivas Poojary said, "If they have anything against the Enforcement Directorate (ED), they are free to go to the Supreme Court. But insulting PM and home minister in abusive words is not acceptable. No one is in the jail for freedom struggle. ED and D K Shivakumar are there.

“If Congress continues to abuse PM and home minister BJP cannot tolerate. There is law and Supreme Court to look into the matter of arrest of Shivakumar. I want to inform Dinesh Gundu Rao, Siddaramaiah and other Congress leaders that if they continue to abuse our leaders, BJP also knows the way to protest against them.”

“Was DKS a freedom fighter? Have we done anything?" questioned the minister.
