Bangalore, Jul 5: In a colourful program on Saturday 4th July at 11.50 am at MEWS Ladies club, Malleswaram, Dr Ln Sadhana & Lns. Shobha as Presidents of Ln & Lns clubs respectively along with their team of officer bearers for the Lionistic year 2009-2010 together with induction of new members were installed by Ln K Vamsidhar Babu PMJF, immediate past Dist. Governor.
Ln Vamsidhar in his address, stated that Lionism is nothing but developing interpersonal relationship among the members, respecting & supporting each other leading to friendship growth. To be a part of Lionism one has to dedicate time, talent, treasure etc & this will yield results of leadership skills & help us to become valuable citizens of our country. Let us focus on what we will be tomorrow forgetting what we are today aiming higher he added. He conducted the installation ceremony in a befitting manner explaining every one of their roll. He applauded the teams for their selfless service towards the needy which amounted to over Three lakhs of rupees.
As a permanent project, 5 computers were donated to Archana Education Trust on the day in addition to many more service activities.
Zone Chairperson Ln Nagadeviah, Region chairperson Ln Nair, Dist Cabinet Sec Ln Mohan graced the dais with their presence.
Prog was compeered by Ln Naveen, which concluded vote of thanks by Lns Kuhu followed by lunch 1.30pm.
