Udupi: Suspect of stealing mobiles from shop arrested - Loot recovered

Udupi, Sep 5: Brahmavar police station personnel in the leadership of police circle inspector Srikanth K have arrested Navin Kumar (25), resident of Brahmavar, Udupi near Padunilavara on September 4 on charges of entering Benaka mobile sales and service shop at Bidkalkatte, after removing roof tiles at night and stealing four new mobile phones from there.

One mobile each of Oppo, Redmi, Lenovo and Vivo companies worth Rs 50,000 and a Pulsar motor bike worth Rs 80,000 which was used for the theft were confiscated from the suspect.

Brahmavar circle police station personnel Krishnappa, Pradeep Nayak, Vasudev Poojary, Vikram, Shekar Hebri, Brahmavar police station staff HC Pravin Shettigar and Kota police station personnel Rajesh and Basavarajappa have taken part in the operation on directions from Udupi SP Nisha James and guidance from additional SP Kumarchandra and Udupi sub division assistant SP T Jaishanker.
