Udupi, Jul 7: On Monday July 7, the bodies of a young man and woman were found lying on the banks of the sea at Koditale near Brahmavar. Reportedly, the couple chose to commit suicide, frustrated by the continued disapproval of their relationship by their respective families.
Arun Naik (18) son of Karje Balebettu Sanjeev Naik and Sridevi (18), daughter of Haluvalli Nekkarahady Gudde Angady Raghu Naik, who were in love with each other, chose to end their lives. It is said, that the couple could not bear the agony of separation, as their families steadfastly refused to approve the alliance.
A case has been registered in Kota police station in this regard.
