M'lore: Fall from Tree Proves Fatal – Man Succumbs to Injuries in Hospital

Mangalore, Jul 7: A person died after a fatal fall from a tree at Shantigudde, Bajpe here on Monday July 6 morning.

The deceased has been identified as Lakshman Poojary (50), a resident of Mullakaadu near here. Poojary was busy cutting the branch of tree in the colony of Lingamma at Shantigudde here when the fatal accident took place. Poojary lost balance and fell on to the ground from the height of about 30 ft.  

Though he was taken to hospital immediately he did not respond to the treatment and died in the afternoon.
