Udupi: Young Lady Feared Drowned due to Flood

Udupi, Jul 8: A young lady was washed away in the flood waters on Tuesday July 7. She could not be found till late evening on Tuesday July 7. The missing lady has been identified as Rajashree (25), daughter of Muddu Acharya from Manipur Kanaradi near Katpady.

Rajashree had been to a shop to buy some necessities for her house. The fields had been flooded then. A missing complaint has been registered with the policemen.

As the flood waters get emptied into the river water, the whereabouts and fate of the woman could not be established. After conducting an exhaustive search for her till the evening, her elder brother Raghavendra Acharya filed a complaint with Kaup police station.
