Mangalore: Dubai-based NRI Fails to Reach Home on Return

Mangalore, Jul 9:  A missing person’s complaint was lodged at Bajpe police station on Thursday July 9 after a man who returned from Dubai failed to reach his home in Kannur, Kerala.

The complaint said that Nihad Majid (21), resident of Kohinoor Manjil, Khazana Thottam, Kannur, was missing after arrival at Mangalore airport on Sunday June 28. 

He came to Mangalore on a Kingfisher airlines flight from Bangalore where he had arrived from Dubai.

Sub-inspector Raghav Padeel said that they have established that he headed for Mangalore railway station after getting into a taxi from Mangalore airport.

His younger brother Shihad Majid has lodged the complaint. 

It is said initially the family members were searching for him at their relatives’ houses. On failing to find him anywhere, they decided to approach the police.
