Bantwal: IGP Gopal Hosur Inaugurates Police Outpost at Farangipet

Bantwal, Jul 10: “Citizens’ co-operation is essential for the peace to reign in the society.  Co-existence regardless of caste, creed, and religion, is expected from the people in the society”, said Gopal Hosur, Western Range IGP.

Hosur was speaking after inaugurating the police outpost in communally-sensitive Farangipet locality, near here, on Friday July 10.

“The police force is ever ready to curb the evil forces,” said Hosur.  Meanwhile, he also urged the locals to co-operate with the police department in maintaining law and order.

Dakshina Kannada SP Dr Subramanyeshwar Rao, Puttur ASP Chandra Gupta, zilla panchayat members Sadanand Malli and Ummer Farouq, taluk panchayat president Hanif, and Kodman Kantappa Shetty, were present on the occasion.
