Pompei Hg. School, Pompei Junior College and now Pompei College, all are feathers to Kirem and to its generous donators by means of finance and support. The great architects of Kirem, Fr. George Menezes/Fr. B.A.D''Souza/Fr. Aloysius Alvares/Fr. Bernard have contributed a lot with the support and generosity of Kirem People. One thing I fail to understand, on a stage like this there are 8 dignitaries on the stage and 4 of them are from the clergy. Can someone explain what is their contribution to the Kirem? When functions/celebrations take place clergy is given undue importance. Any comments!

Glad to note the progress of pompei- my "Alma Mater". when the pompei high school was being built my father apparently donated to his "Alma Mater" a " bullock cart " to cart sand from Shambhavi river at Sankalkariya for the building. Probably due to lack of space this donation was only mentioned as some amount of cash on the marble board ! Lot of water has flown down Shambhavi and so many generations have passed by now as the high school has become a college and making steady progress. KEEP IT UP.
