Speaker Jagadish Shettar Rubbishes Resignation Rumours

Kodagu, Jul 12: Assembly speaker Jagadish Shettar on Saturday July 12 firmly denied any plans to resign from his post. “I will not tender resignation at any cost and that rumour reports are far from truth,” he said.

Speaking to presspersons at Barapole in district, he said that he was satisfied with his service as a speaker and has no grievances whatsoever. Lot of development works have been carried out in my constituency, he added.

Further, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has earmarked adequate funds for my constituency, he said.
