Udupi: Sadbhavana Samiti Donates Two Houses to Needy

Udupi, Jul 13: Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon inaugurated two houses to be donated to poor families by Sadbhavana Samiti, Bengre–Padubidri, near here, on Sunday July 12.

Mendon, speaking at a function held in this regard at Padubidri Urdu School, on Sunday July 12, said that the Sadbhavana Samiti has been rendering yeomen service in providing housing to poor families as well as in other social welfare and voluntary service organizations. 

He urged other organizations to come forward to do their mite in uplifting the poor and downtrodden.







Mendon commended the Samiti for setting an example for others for the first time in 20 village councils in Kaup legislative assembly constituency.

Coastal Development Authority member Ravindranath G Hegde presided over the programme.

Padubidri sub-inspector Mohan Kottary, Padubidri Urdu School correspondent Shabbir Hussain, and Samiti honourary president Mitun R Hegde were the chief guests on the occasion.

Samiti president Vishukumar Shetty welcomed the gathering.  Secretary Prakash P R presented the report.  Padubidri Urdu School retired teacher Razak delivered the introductory address and Rajesh compered the programme.
