Udupi: Manipal Varsity Physical Education Directors to Present Papers in Malaysia

Udupi, Jul 13: Manipal University (MU) physical education directors will present papers at the ‘Asia Pacific Conference on Exercise and Sports Science’, which will be held in Malaysia from Wednesday July 15 to Friday July 17, said a press release.
The ‘Eighth International Sports Science Conference on Health and Wellness’, and a physical fitness workshop, will also be held simultaneously.
Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) director Dr Kemparaj H B and Kasturba Medical College (KMC) directors Sridhar H and Upendra Nayak will attend the conference to present papers.
Dr Kemparaj will present a paper on the concept of sports management in MU as a health promotional tool in a global village.
Sridhar will present paper on ‘Yogasana’ and ‘Pranayam’ as a therapeutic tool in the management of mentally retarded children.
Nayak will present a paper on the comparative effect of swimming and aerobics on selected physical and physiological variables among special children.
