Mangalore: Rage in Parking Lot - Accused John D'Souza Surrenders

Mangalore, Jul 15: In connection with the incident in which a man named Harish Poojary was killed with a sword in the parking lot of an apartment block in Ujjodi in the city on Saturday July 11 morning by John D'Souza, a resident of the same apartments in a fit of rage after a trivial fight erupted between them over the issue of car parking slot, John D'Souza surrendered before the third Junior Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court here on Tuesday July 14.

He has been remanded to judicial custody. It may be recalled that the accused had gone missing after the incident and the search operations of the policemen in various places had failed to spot him.

    As he has surrended himself now, he should be punished as per the law & should be left free.
