Moodbidri, Jul 17:
A temple tower and Teertha Mantap located at Kandir in Kaje village under the limits of Shirtady gram panchayat, near here collapsed to the ground a couple of days back, owing to incessant rains and heavy winds. 

Sri Adi Shakti Durgambika Temple managing trustee Somanath Shanthi informed that losses due to the crash is around a lac of rupees.
 
Village accountant and revenue assistant Gopal visited the spot and made a detailed report of damages.
