Bengaluru: IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri transfer - Manivannan denies role

Bengaluru, Sep 25: Secretary in the department of labour, Capt P Manivannan, has written to the state chief secretary, T M Vijay Bhaskar, clarifying that he has not interfered with and got IAS officer, Rohini Sindhuri, serving as secretary of labour welfare board, transferred.

There were allegations that Rohini was shunted out for refusing to divert the money in labour welfare fund for other purposes and that Manivannan had played a role in her transfer.

In his letter, Manivannan also clarified that Rohini Sindhuri can be continued in the post of the secretary of the board in the interests of the board.
