Mangalore: Police Arrest Two for Harassing Sales Girls

Mangalore, Jul 29: Personnel of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Mangalore Central railway station arrested two people on charges of harassing sales girls on Tuesday July 28.

They were later handed over to the Pandeswara police.

The arrested have been identified as Krishna Das, a staff of the railway department, and Abdul Rasheed from Kasargod. The duo are said to have harassed three sales girls.












The RPF police made the arrests on the basis of a tip-off from the railway quarters of Krishna Das.

The girls, in their complaint to Pandeswara police, said that they had been to the railway quarters selling products of RMP company. That was when Abdul Rasheed called them to their residence and started to talk to them in a cheap manner.

Pandeswara police registered the case based on the girls’ complaint.
