Mangaluru: Missionary Children’s Association inaugurated at St Joseph Vaz Church, Mudipu

Mangaluru, Oct 11: The inauguration of the Missionary Children’s Association (MCA) took place on October 6 at St Joseph Vaz Church, Mudipu.

Fr Rohan Lobo, secretary of the Bishop inaugurated this association with two children by lighting the lamp. He gave a bird’s eye view regarding this association which strives to inculcate in the children a zeal and love for the mission of Jesus Christ. The goal of MCA is ‘children help children’.

Fr Benjamin Pinto gave information regarding the handbook which is prepared for the children from V to X Standard and informed the children that the meeting of Missionary Children’s Association will be held on first Sunday of every month.

Fr Shaun Rodrigues, Sr Joaquina Dias, Marcel D’Souza, secretary PPP, parents and about 50 children were present.
