Mangaluru, Oct 12: On Friday October 11, there was marked reduction in rainfall all over coastal Karnataka. There were reports of some rain in a few places while the rain was considerably weak in Udupi district.
The city had cloudy weather with frequent stretches of sunshine. Sullia and surrounding places got good rainfall with thunder.
Udupi district had sunshine till afternoon but clouds soon took over. In Karkala, light showers with thunder were experienced. Udupi city did not get rain although the weather was cloudy.
As per predictions of the meteorological department, some places in the coast may get rain with thunder in the evening and night for two days.
