Mangaluru: Several coastal regions receive good rainfall

Mangaluru, Oct 14: Reports said that various parts of coastal Karnataka received good rainfall on Sunday, October 13.

Beltangady, Dharmasthala, Kadaba, Puttur, and some areas of Sullia taluk got good rainfall. Sunlight and cloudy weather played hide and seek in the city.

Several places in Udupi district received some rainfall on Sunday. Places like Karkala, Shirva, and Siddapur got rain with thunder. Karkala, Kundapur and Byndoor got some rain in the evening. Udupi city got very little rain. In the evening, cloudy weather with light showers was experienced.

Many areas in the twin-districts have been receiving rain coupled with thunder and lightning at night since the last some days, resulting in power outages.

The meteorological department has predicted good rainfall in the coastal region for the next two days.
