Mangaluru: 'Dweepa' Kannada drama presented at Padua Theatre Hub

Mangaluru, Oct 14: Kannada drama 'Dweepa', directed by Laxman K P and enacted by the artistes of Aayana Nataka Mane troupe was presented at the open auditorium of Padua College as part of the weekend theatre of Padua Theatre Hub, a group started by the unification of several amateur stage artiste groups of Mangaluru in order to preserve and maintain the continuity of stage drama art.

This was the second show of this drama. Vijaykumar Kodialbail, renowned artiste of Tulu drama field was the chief guest of the occasion. He wished the drama all the very best and congratulated all the organizers for starting Theatre Hub with the intention of maintaining continuity of stage drama. He also assured his best cooperation in the future too.

The programme was compered by Mohana Chandra of Aayana Nataka Mane troupe. This drama was presented in a unique way in open ground stage instead of the usual auditorium stage.

There was an interactive session with the audience after the drama. Aharyam group cooperated in the technical side of the drama.

'Gokula Nirgamana', drama directed by Shwetha Arehole and written by Pu Ti Na will be presented by Nandagokula artistes’ troup on October 19 on the same open ground auditorium.
