Ballari: Somashekhar Reddy seeks Sriramulu to be made district-in-charge

Ballari, Oct 14: The city constituency MLA here, G Somashekhar Reddy, has expressed the opinion that deputy chief minister, Laxman Savadi, should be divested of Ballari district in-charge minister portfolio by giving this position to B Sraramulu. He asserted that he has been demanding for this change in the interests of the district's development.

He was speaking at the Valmiki birth anniversary function organized in the city on Sunday, October 13. "Savadi has been made Ballari district in-charge minister. But he is basically from Belagavi. Therefore, he has not been able to visit the district often. Srimulu being a local, would be able to achieve the development of the district faster," he explained.
