Daijiworld Media Network - Bhatkal (SP)

Bhatkal, Jul 31: All the seven fishermen were tossed into the choppy sea off Murdeshwar coast near here, after a huge wave capsized their boat on Wednesday July 29. The local fishermen, however, succeeded in jumping into action and saving all of them.

The fishermen were returning after their fishing trip in the country boat belonging to Tamisuddin Lakapatimane from Murdeshwar. Tabrez, Miera Hussain, Mustaq Hussain, Sheikh Donna, Babu, Shabbir Hodekar and Eshwar Mogera had gone for fishing.  When the boat was just about 50 metres away from the shore, it overturned, after a huge wave hit it at around 5.45 pm. The other fishermen immediately rushed to the spot in four boats and saved them.
