Bengaluru: Former DCM Dr G Parameshwar to be questioned on Tuesday

Bengaluru, Oct 15: Former deputy chief minister (DCM), Dr G Parameshwar, would be questioned by the income tax officials relating to the raids conducted by the department on the educational institutions he runs at Tumakuru and Nelamangala, and residence at Sadashivanagar here. He has also been asked to bring documents relating to his dealings.

Muniramayya, who had sold eight acres of land for Rs 5.5 crore recently to Parameshwar, and his close aide, Shivakumar, had been grilled by the officials on Monday. Shivakumar happens to be the former president of Nelamangala municipality. Both Muniramayya and Shivakumar have been asked to bring documents relating to the transactions they have with Shivakumar.
