Bangalore: Dilip Rau Appointed as New KSIDC Chief

Bangalore, Aug 1:
Senior IAS officer Dilip Rau has been appointed chairman of Karnataka Silk Industries Development Corporation (KSIDC), Bangalore. 

Rau, a 1972-batch officer was waiting for posting. Former IPS officer Subhash Bharani, who was serving as KSIDC president resigned from the post and joined joined Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Tuesday July 28 quitting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

AKM Nayak, additional chief secretary, home department has been given additional charge as development commissioner after retirement of Shanthakumari L Sunder.
