Kundapur, Aug 6: A devotee from Andhra Praesh presented a golden crown and a golden pot with spout, to Goddess Mookambika of Kollur Temple on Wednesday August 5. The weight of the golden items presented by him is about a kilogram.
A V L Narasimha Rao and his family, devotees of the Goddess, made these offerings to the temple, as per a religious vow they had previously undertaken. At the appointed Muhurtam, they presented the items to the temple.
On behalf of the temple, managing trustee Krishnaprasad Adyantaya felicitated Narasimha Rao. Trustee K N Govind Adiga, executive officer L N Maruti and superintendent of the religious endowments department Krishnamurty were present.
