Kundapur: Youth on visit to Hospital for Check-up, commits Suicide

Kundapur, Aug 7:  A youth named Sheetal (30), son of Subrahmanya from Nagar in Shimoga district, committed suicide in a private hospital premises here on Thursday August 6.

Reportedly, he had come to Kundapur along with his mother for some purpose. After attending to that work, he asked his mother to go back to Nagar. He then went to a private hospital and told the people there that he wanted his medical check up to be conducted. After waiting for some time, he entered the scanning centre of the hospital and hanged himself by using the nylon rope used for curtains.

Reasons for this extreme step are not known. Local policemen have registered a case.
