Musk 'going offline' after questioning Twitter

San Francisco, Nov 2 (IANS): Multi-billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk has announced to his 29 million Twitter followers that he is "going offline" again. This is after in June, when he said he would delete his account but the account remained active.

Musk said in separate posts on the social media platform that he was "not sure about good of Twitter" but that "Reddit still seems good".

The Tesla CEO has an official Reddit account and it has not been active for several years. Interestingly, Musk's Twitter account is still active after these posts.

In October, court documents surfaced showing Musk's advisers had urged him to take a break from Twitter after his personal attack against British caver Vernon Unsworth last year.

The billionaire will go to trial for calling hero the Brit 'paedo guy' when he saved Thai cave boys. Musk has been sued for 57,000 pound. Unsworth, who helped the perilous underwater rescue, had annoyed the Tesla CEO after he mocked his suggestion to use a mini-sub in the rescue op.

Earlier, he was accused by the US Securities and Exchange Commission for disclosing misleading corporate information about his electric car making company Tesla on Twitter and he was forced to pay a $20 million fine.
